Global Service Portfolio Lead - GenAI Specialist

The Global Service Portfolio Lead - GenAI is responsible for strategically growing our business, services, brand, and capability development in the GenAI space. As a member of the Global Service Development team, this leader is expected to grow Thoughtworks’ total addressable market (TAM), drive demand, and ensure Thoughtworks’ ability to deliver industry leading premium services. Success will depend on driving market branding, revenue growth, and growing our GenAI credibility through internal & external collaborations and working with cross functional teams. Operating in a global context, the Global Service Portfolio Lead - GenAI will be expected to be able to operate effectively across time zones and cultures while driving measurable results.

Job responsibilities

  • Market Growth Strategy and Execution: Define and execute service market strategy through market analysis, demand enablement, asset development, marketing and promotion, and thought leadership to drive awareness and generate leads.
  • Service Definition and Value Proposition: Defining and articulating the purpose, problem space, scope, target audience, and unique value proposition and benefits of the service.
  • Service Design / Blueprint: Mapping out the end-to-end process of service delivery, detailing customer interactions, and engagement models.
  • Pricing and Commercial Strategy: Creating a pricing model and structure that determines the cost and commercialization options, ensuring it is competitive and financially sustainable.
  • Demand Enablement and Support: Orchestrating the creation and enhancement of sales assets and pursuit materials to reduce the cost of pursuits and improve win rates. This may require hands-on participation on early stage pursuits to validate pursuits materials and techniques prior to scaling.
  • Delivery Assets and Enablement: Strategically plan and drive service delivery assets and capability development for the GenAI service portfolio, to accelerate delivery and ensure its success. Collaborate with our internal functions to develop training programs and academies to enhance service delivery skills.
  • Service Partnership Development: In collaboration with the Partnerships team, establishing and nurturing partnerships that enhance service delivery and expand the service's reach, capabilities, and pipelines.
  • Case Studies and Knowledge management: Develop detailed case studies highlighting successful implementations and outcomes, and harvest project assets into a centralized repository of knowledge to support efficient service pursuits and future delivery.
  • Service Maturity and Evolution / Continuous Improvement: Continuously enhancing and evolving the service to improve its effectiveness and meet changing customer needs.

Job qualifications

Technical Skills

  • 10+ years of relevant technical experience with AI/ML.
  • Relevant experience with GenAI applications and architectures in production.
  • Experience designing and building RAG solutions and agentic architectures.
  • Developing robust guardrails and evaluation strategies for LLM and agentic AI systems.
  • Articulating value and ROI from AI investments, and translating those into transformative AI strategies.
  • Optimizing the end-to-end lifecycle of AI/ML from idea to production, including MLOps and LLMOps principles and practices.
  • Ability to translate leading-edge research in AI/GenAI into our services, and communicate the value to non-technical audiences.
  • Develop, execute and grow world leading services and go-to-market strategies around them.
  • Familiarity with the data & AI products and services landscape, including cloud and ecosystem partners and their funding models.
  • Nice to have: in-depth experience with AI in a specific industry, such as: Healthcare & Life Sciences, Banking & Financial Services, FMCG, Retail, Travel & Transport, or Automotive & Manufacturing.
