尽管向量数据库因 检索增强生成（RAG） 使用案例而日益流行，但研究和经验报告表明，将传统的全文搜索与向量搜索相结合（成为混合搜索）可以生成更完善的结果。可以借助 Elasticsearch Relevance Engine(ESRE)，成熟的全文搜索平台 Elasticsearch 支持了内置和自定义嵌入模型、向量搜索以及具有如倒数排序融合(Reciprocal Rank Fusion)等排名机制的混合搜索。尽管这个领域仍在发展中，但根据我们的经验，使用 ESRE 的这些功能以及 Elasticsearch 自带的传统过滤、排序和排名功能已经取得不错的结果，这表明支持语义搜索的搜索平台不应被忽视。
