很多人都可以使用多种语言，并且会在不同的情境下使用不同的语言。运行应用程序的设备和平台通常会要求用户选择一种系统语言，然后要求应用程序也使用这个系统语言。但手机用户有时会希望某些应用能够使用与系统语言不同的语言。苹果公司早些时候在 iOS 中提供了按应用设定的语言偏好设置功能。然而在 Android 13 之前，如果安卓应用程序开发者想要提供此选项，就只能在应用程序中自行实现。Android 13 提供了一项新的系统设置：按应用设定的语言偏好设置和一个公共 API，使开发者能够更容易地提供此功能。为了向后兼容，AndroidX 还通过 AppCompatDelegate 提供了相应的 API。我们建议开发者们使用这项新功能替换之前的自定义解决方案。
