Liz Blasi

I’m a digital designer and strategist by training, and a technologist by experience — driven by the belief that accessible technology is a human right.

My career began with a university web design fellowship, where I gained hands-on experience in front-end development, web design, and content management — using FTP to maintain university websites (circa 2010). Since then, I’ve worked at the intersection of design, technology, lean UX, and business strategy, leading digital experience efforts across CMS platforms, enterprise applications, and SaaS products.

Before joining Thoughtworks, I co-founded a digital consultancy and served as Principal Product Designer and Researcher, leading human-centered strategy for a range of B2B and B2C products — from e-commerce and mobile apps to cloud supply chain platforms. I also co-led client strategy, business development, and proposal writing.

In addition to my industry work, I’ve taught UX at several institutions, helping students build practical skills in digital design, rapid prototyping, and design thinking.

At Thoughtworks, I partner with clients to translate complex business needs into intuitive, human-centered experiences that drive measurable value. With a collaborative, research-driven approach, I bring deep expertise across industries — spanning B2B, automotive, retail, and government — to solve systems-level challenges through strategic design and storytelling.

I live in Denver, CO, with my partner and our Vizsla.
