Subject to the restrictions described below, any information about you which is obtained by ThoughtWorks Inc. (“ThoughtWorks”) during the recruiting process may only be used and retained by ThoughtWorks for purposes of considering your qualifications for employment. ThoughtWorks may also, provided that your individual information is de-identified, use such information for general research purposes regarding our recruitment process.
The information collected may include a limited amount of information of a sensitive nature, but only if you provide this information: information about your racial or ethnic origin, health and/or criminal record.
ThoughtWorks collects this information to our recruitment tools (whose providers are situated in the US) and also provides these tools as a service to its affiliated companies. As your individual information will be first collected in the US and then, via a secure connection, shared with the affiliate company at which you apply for employment, ThoughtWorks may send your information to a jurisdiction other than the one in which you live or have applied for employment. This may include a department or office located anywhere in the world where ThoughtWorks' global organization does business from time to time, including the US and other countries where the standard of personal data protection is not as high as in your home country.
Access to your information will be limited to the number of persons in the global ThoughtWorks organisation that need such information for assessing your suitability for the role you applied for as well as for general administrative tasks or those that we are obligated by law to share the information with. This includes, but is not limited to global recruiting teams, people teams, management, interviewers, IT support and authorised vendors that we use to provide recruiting services.
By submitting your information, you acknowledge that all representations made by you are true and correct to the best of your knowledge and belief, and you have not knowingly omitted any relevant information. You understand that any inaccurate information may disqualify you from employment before or after you are hired.
