When Oracle ceased development on Sun’s OpenSSO—an open source access management platform—It was picked up by ForgeRock and integrated into their Open Identity Suite. Now named OpenAM, it fills the niche for a scalable, open-source platform that supports OpenID Connect and SAML 2.0.
