Rachel Laycock has been with Thoughtworks since 2010, beginning her career as a developer and steadily taking on increasingly complex challenges for clients around the world. As Chief Technology Officer, she oversees the development and communication of Thoughtworks' technology strategy, ensuring the company remains a leader in the skills and technologies critical to its clients' success. Her extensive international experience, spanning the UK, Germany, India, Australia, and the US, has provided her with a broad perspective on the challenges organizations face across industries.

 

Prior to her role as CTO, Rachel served as Global Managing Director of Enterprise Modernization, Platforms, and Cloud. A regular speaker at technology conferences, she also plays a key role in Thoughtworks' Technology Radar, which helps businesses stay ahead in the fast-evolving tech landscape.
