Assess ?

Herdr is an open-source terminal multiplexer and runtime designed to manage multiple coding agent sessions. It provides familiar multiplexer capabilities such as panes, keyboard navigation, detaching and reattaching, making it easier for developers to migrate from tools such as tmux. Herdr keeps agents running in persistent terminal sessions while exposing agent-aware states such as working, blocked, done and idle. Integrations via a CLI allow agents to create panes, exchange prompts and coordinate work.

As developers increasingly run parallel coding agents across multiple workspaces, keeping track of which sessions require attention and how to resume interrupted work has become a new workflow challenge. Tools such as T3 Code, Orca and Paseo provide alternative experiences for developers who prefer a GUI. Teams managing parallel agents should assess Herdr if they want persistent sessions and visible agent status in their terminal workflow.
