Giles Alexander

Giles Edwards-Alexander is an experienced CTO, engineer and technologist who has worked on everything from modernisation of major enterprise systems to rapid product innovation for startups. Immediately prior to boomerang-ing, he was leading architecture to modernise point of sale and order management systems at a major retail SaaS vendor; running his own edtech startup; and, CTPO of the world’s largest mental health platform for children and young people.

Previously, at Thoughtworks, he was Head of Technology for Retail, working with major retailers of many forms around the world. He also delivered a complete suite of mobile apps for one of the world’s largest airlines. Giles started his career as an engineer working in AI and R&D: expert systems, embedded applications, network stacks and computer vision.
