WomenTech Network, a global platform powered by Coding Girls, Tech Family Ventures and Tallocate to promote diversity in tech, leadership and entrepreneurship, held a virtual ceremony to honor the most accomplished women and allies in tech. ThoughtWorks, a global technology consultancy, received the silver award in the category Diversity in Tech Employer of the Year for initiatives and established processes to support diversity and women in tech such as the recruiting process, our efforts to bring women into leadership positions and our development programs.
Lisa Junger, Head of Diversity Equity and Inclusion at ThoughtWorks Germany commented: “We are delighted to be a designated honoree in the Diversity in Tech Employer of the Year category. At ThoughtWorks, we truly believe diversity fosters better decision making, empathy, creativity and innovation. It helps to challenge the status quo and allows us to consider different perspectives.”
The virtual celebration brought together people from across the world across 16 times zones from the comfort of their homes. All winners are listed on the WomenTech Network website.
