‘Keep up or be left behind…and be replaced with someone who can’

After a rich career as a footy player, Paul used his learnings from the field to launch an innovative online platform for weight loss and wellbeing. Unlike other startups, Paul's strategy was to build the product in a scalable way from inception, following the motto 'Nail it then scale it'.

Paul openly shares his experience of barriers to innovation and the challenges that come along with the delivery of a brand new digital product into the market. Whilst discussing how Leap Training has overcome some of these hurdles, he bravely confirms what all of us suspect; ‘if your road through digital has been smooth, you might be doing it wrong.’

Paul Licuria

CEO, Leap training, and Co-Founder, Trim For Life

Paul is most well know for his AFL career, playing for the Sydney Swans and Collingwood. He was inducted into the Collingwood Football Club Hall of Fame in 2011.

Post his AFL career, Paul held a Director position at Westpac, and later co-founded the Weight Loss and Health Institute, focused on assisting Australians with weight management. Paul’s extensive experience across different industries inspires him to constantly pursue new directions.

Paul is the CEO of Leap training, an organisation that specialises in delivering real industry skills across Australia through cutting-edge, online learning.
