Describe your experience so far at Thoughtworks in one or two words: Continuous progress, engaging

What does your job involve?

On the client side, I've mostly played the role of an Infrastructure Engineer. This has been both fun and challenging due to the wide variety of projects I've been a part of. I've been on legacy projects that needed infrastructure modernization. I've also been on greenfield projects where we get lots of room to explore and experiment. But, working in an infrastructure role does not mean that I only do infrastructure work. I've been able to broaden my knowledge and expertise in a wide variety of areas. I've been able to work on backend, frontend, testing and security. Outside of client work, I've been able to lead or be part of various communities. These include Platform Engineering, AI, and book club just to name a few.

What is the most rewarding aspect of what you do?

Seeing the work I do positively impact others - helping them learn and grow.

We’d love to hear about your career journey. Can you talk about what led you to Thoughtworks and your decision to join Thoughtworks?

I first encountered Thoughtworks at a Tech Conference in Singapore. At the time I was living in Thailand and they didn't have a Thailand office. At the conference I spoke with several of the people who were working for the company. I loved the culture and values they talked about. They spoke of  personal growth, collaboration and continuously striving to have a meaningful impact. Several years later, Thoughtworks had started an office in Thailand. I immediately applied.

What has been your favorite part of your Thoughtworks career to date?

I can easily say the people. I get to work with so many diverse and talented people. We learn together, face challenges together, collaborate, and have fun while doing it.

What advice would you give to anyone thinking of joining Thoughtworks?

Do you like learning, growing, and being challenged?  Do you like working with a wide variety of clients and industries? Do you want to feel like you are making a difference? If you answer yes, then Thoughtworks is for you.

Anything else that you wanted to add about your Thoughtworks journey?

I'm so glad that I decided to join Thoughtworks. I've learned so much and met so many amazing people. After three years with Thoughtworks, I still feel like there is so much for me to grow in and explore here.
