Last Sunday (8 March), we lost one of our greatest teachers. Luca Bastos, our consultant leader in Brazil, died at age 69 in Sao Paulo. A born leader, Luca personified enthusiasm, a thirst for knowledge and technical excellence.

With over 40 years of experience, this 'developer from the old times', as he called himself, made his name and history in the IT community since its very beginning. He was, for instance, one of the founders of the Java Users Group in Brazil (now with 150 thousand members).
For his family and friends, we extend our thoughts and good energy. Given this immeasurable loss, our mission is to honor his legacy and focus our efforts on keeping the passion and innovative thinking that he encouraged among us.
