I joined Thoughtworks in 2015 after years of covering the environment, culture, and women's issues at Mother Jones. I've been published in outlets like Wired and Smithsonian, and my articles have been referenced in many books. I graduated from University of Oregon with B.A.s in journalism and art history, and received my M.S. in journalism from Columbia University in 2006.
