João Lucas Santana

I  joined Thoughtworks as a software development consultant back in 2014. Since then I have led multiple engineering teams through the design, planning, and delivery of digital products. I have also helped to set up the foundations for our expansion in Brazil and Chile, supporting the growth of our people and the health of our client engagements.

I have over a decade of experience in the technology industry with a strong focus on Agile delivery and modern engineering practices. In the past years, I've advised senior executives (CDOs, CTOs, CIOs) of our clients in the definition and implementation of digital transformation strategies. And have been in the leadership team of large long-term strategic engagements, partnering with technology leaders to develop and steer technology roadmaps and their connection with business strategies.

As the Head of Technology for Thoughtworks in Chile, I have the mission of building capabilities internally through technology initiatives, bringing thought leadership for technical communities internally and externally, as well as ensuring the success of our client partnerships.
