At XConf, it's not just about attending technical talks and absorbing insights—you also have the chance to dive into hands-on workshops. This year, we’re offering two exclusive workshops, running in parallel.
Each workshop has specific prerequisites, and you’ll need to bring your own laptop to fully participate. Please review the workshop details carefully to ensure you're set up with everything you need, as participants without the required equipment won’t be able to join.
Please note that due to limited spots, not all applicants will be selected. We’ll notify you soon regarding your registration status. Check out the descriptions below and reserve your spot in the workshop of your choice!
Workshop topics
Distributed systems provide a particular challenge to program. They often require us to have multiple copies of data, which need to keep synchronized. Yet we cannot rely on processing nodes working reliably, and network delays can easily lead to inconsistencies. Despite this, many organizations rely on a range of core distributed software handling data storage, messaging, system management, and compute capability. These systems face common problems which they solve with similar solutions. This workshop introduces the concept of pattens applied to distributed systems to better understand and communicate distributed system design.
Recommended for: Developers with 3-6 years of experience
Pre-requisite for attendees: Familiarity with Java, JDK17+ and any IDE for Java programming
What to carry: Your laptop and charger
As multi-agent systems emerge as foundational components in the evolution of AI applications, this session explores their transformative role. We will first uncover why multi-agent architectures are key to future AI advancements, demonstrating how they surpass traditional approaches in adaptability, efficiency, and problem-solving. Then, we’ll examine diverse real-world applications, highlighting multi-agent implementations across industries such as finance and healthcare, where they are driving innovation. Through hands-on exercises, participants will engage with multi-agent coordination techniques, gaining practical insights into their orchestration and learning how to leverage them for robust, collaborative AI solutions.
