Phil Ibarrola
TechOps head of technology
Phil has been a valued member of the TechOps team at Thoughtworks for 12 years. Over the years, he has worn many different hats and had many roles. He has been instrumental in migrating core services from a traditional, on-premises, hosted model to the cloud and SaaS. In his current role, he is tasked with defining a cohesive technical strategy for Thoughtworks' internal IT team. The bigger challenge is ensuring all team members are aware of and aligned to this strategy.
He is based in Chicago, but has been to five continents with Thoughtworks. In the little spare time he has, Phil enjoys spending time with his family, learning how to play his new ukulele, and everything Star Wars.
