Nick began his career in the IT industry in 2020 when he joined Thoughtworks as a Graduate Consultant. Prior to joining, he completed his Masters in Computer Science at the University of Nottingham. He then spent two years living and working in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, during which he also studied Mandarin Chinese.

He has taken on roles including Developer, Architect, and Tech Lead, serving clients in diverse sectors such as automotive, healthcare, food, and publishing. He is dedicated to achieving business success and fostering the growth of others, believing that a healthy team culture is essential to both. He focuses on establishing robust quality strategies, implementing effective engineering practices, and collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality software. This passion is demonstrated through his commitment to knowledge sharing, enhancing the developer experience, and cultivating a productive, results-driven culture.

Alongside his client work, he has contributed to open-source initiatives focused on improving healthcare outcomes in developing countries.
