We don’t know who named Lotus, but we can only assume they are too young to have worked with a certain office collaboration product. Lotus is a new Rack-based MVC framework written in Ruby that can be deployed modularly so that you are free to use only the portions of the framework you need. It is a modern alternative to the monolithic Ruby-on-Rails framework (that turned 10 this year). Lotus has the potential to make full-stack Ruby MVC development as easy as 1-2-3.
