— More Speakers To Come —

Welcome to Toronto.

In Toronto, the future is happening in real time. With a booming tech scene driven by digital giants like Google, Airbnb, and Facebook, plus over 200,000 tech workers and 4,000+ startups, it’s easy to see why some call it “the Silicon Valley of the North.” But Toronto is forging its own unique identity as a tech hub that is as diverse and inclusive as it is innovative. We’re looking forward to showing you how Toronto has become a global model for innovation through forward-thinking policies, public-private partnerships, and a strong investment in the tech community.

2018 LOCATIONS

Four Seasons Hotel Toronto

A shining beacon of Canadian hospitality, we’re thrilled to host ParadigmShift 2018 at the flagship Four Seasons Hotel Toronto. Rising 55 stories in the heart of downtown, our location is the very first hotel in Canada to be awarded both the AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star ratings. We, along with our team at Four Seasons, are looking forward to showing off the very best Toronto has to offer with world-class customer service, ambiance, and cuisine.

Toronto is among the most culturally diverse cities in the world with the food, shops, art, and music to show for it. We recommend breakfast at St. Lawrence Market and a walk through Kensington and Queen Street West, two multicultural neighborhoods brimming with unique shops, restaurants, and street art.

Evergreen Brick Works

Evergreen Brick Works/Signature Event

Get ready for a multi-sensory experience of sight and sound, art and AI, heartbeats and brain waves. It all happens at Evergreen Brick Works in Toronto’s picturesque Don River Valley.

We’ll dine in the historic Kiln Building, which for decades churned out the bricks that built Toronto’s most famous buildings. The Kiln was abandoned in the 80s and became a notorious hotspot for underground raves and graffiti artists. In 2010, Evergreen stepped in to transform the crumbling heritage site into a global model of preservation, sustainable reuse, and innovative public-private partnerships. Today, Evergreen Brick Works hosts special events for Google and Shopify with guests that include Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and other world leaders.

Attendance at ParadigmShift is by invitation only. Limited spaces are available.

FAQs

Important Travel Advisory

As of 2016, most travelers from outside the U.S. need a visa or an Electronic Travel Authorization to enter Canada. Your passport may not be enough. To find out what documents you will need, please visit the Government of Canada’s Immigration Services website. If a visa is required, we recommend that you complete this process as soon as possible as it can take approximately 30-60 days.

When should I plan to arrive?

Toronto is an amazing city with diverse culture, art, entertainment, shopping, and nightlife so you may want to arrive on Saturday to explore. ParadigmShift kicks off with a Welcome Reception on Sunday, Oct. 21 at 6:00 pm at the Four Seasons. Creative cocktails and hors-doeuvres will be served.

When will I receive my conference materials?

Conference materials will be distributed when you arrive on Sunday, October 21. Content will be available online, after the event.

What about airfare and accommodations?

Attendance is free, however, we do not cover travel and hotel costs. We have secured a special group rate of $417.20 CAD (includes taxes) per night at the Four Seasons Toronto. There are a limited number of Premium Rooms available at this rate, so please book your hotel as soon as possible. ***You can reserve your room during the online registration process.***

Are meals included?

Yes, premium breakfast, lunch, and refreshments are included during both days of the conference. In addition, we will host a welcome reception with hors doeuvres on Sunday at 6:00 pm at the Four Seasons Toronto, and a full dinner Monday night at Evergreen Brick Works. Please refer to the agenda for times and locations. If you have any dietary needs, please let us know in your registration form.

How many guests will attend?

We intentionally limit our guest list to about 100 of our most senior client executives to allow for deeper, more personal connections between guests. Repeat attendance and increased interest mean we’ve had to move to a waiting list for the past three years, so we encourage invited guests to register now.

Who attends?

ParadigmShift guests are C-level executives representing a wide range of industries. Nearly half of our guests are international. An attendee list will be distributed prior to the event.

What should I wear?

Business-casual attire is perfect for both guests and speakers. October can be chilly, especially at night. We recommend bringing a jacket and keeping an eye on the weather.

Special needs

We want everyone to feel welcome and to enjoy their ParadigmShift experience to the fullest. If you require any personal accommodations or have any dietary needs, please let us know in your registration form.

Can I bring a guest or invite a colleague?

Attendance is by invitation-only and registration of all guests is required. If you would like to recommend a colleague for consideration, please let us know. Generally, guests do not bring spouses or partners to ParadigmShift.

Attendance at ParadigmShift is by invitation only. Limited spaces are available.
