Matthias is a Consultant for Cloud Infrastructure and Engineering Platforms. He specializes in taking environments from "zero" to scaled, bridging the critical gap between strategic vision and the technical "engine room."
 

Matthias applies a socio-technical mindset to complex challenges. He helps organizations break through analysis paralysis by translating abstract business goals into hands-on, feasible architectures. His focus is on delivering early value and ensuring technical solutions are deeply embedded in the company's specific ecosystem.
 

A pragmatic systems thinker, he prioritizes the human element of technology. Drawing on his academic background in Psychology, he works closely with teams to reduce cognitive load and align architecture with organizational culture, ensuring that platforms are not just robust, but are tools that engineers are motivated to use.
 

Matthias has been working in the tech industry since 2008, with deep roots in Germany's automotive sector. His experience spans Virtual Reality and embedded development, before pivoting to a specialized focus on Cloud technologies in 2016. He is also a former Curator of the Thoughtworks Germany Internal Infrastructure Community.

Matthias holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Technische Universität Dresden. His studies focused on Software Development, Media Design, and Computer Graphics, complemented by a minor in Psychology.
