The Ruby language community is responsible for a number of innovations in the area of testing. The next generation of testing tools such as rspec and Cucumber are two such tools that have come out of this community. These tools, along with Thoughtworks’ Twist, provide a way to express tests in a more natural language syntax that captures the intent of the system in a way that end users can quickly grasp.
