Hans formally began his career in 2016 and joined Thoughtworks in 2018. Since then, he has served clients across various industries in China, Southeast Asia and Australia. He is dedicated to finding the optimal technical solutions that effectively balance complexity, delivery timeline and budget.

He possesses diverse expertise in both software engineering and cloud infrastructure, spanning multiple programming languages and cloud providers. Within teams, he acts as the technology "safety net," providing support when complex or unusual problems arise. Drawing on his extensive experience, he has actively contributed to training activities as an instructor for both software and AWS-related topics.

Hans is also an active translator of AWS technology books. His translations of Data Science on AWS and AWS Cookbook were published in 2022 and 2024, respectively.

His lifelong goal is problem-solving, a commitment that remains central in the age of Generative AI.
