Adopt ? We feel strongly that the industry should be adopting these items. We use them when appropriate on our projects.
Application designs that incorporate caching reverse proxies as first class design elements are simpler and more resilient to infrastructure failures. Placing a caching reverse proxy between an application and a web service it consumes reduces the risk of service failures affecting the application while improving overall system performance.
