I enjoy using software to solve hard problems, and helping people improve their cycle time between having an idea and putting it live as software deployed to production. I am the author of the book "Devops in Practice" ("Devops na Prática” in Portuguese), and an experienced speaker having presented talks and workshops in many conferences around the world.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading and performing magic tricks and playing the piano, guitar, and occasionally the drums.

One of the most interesting stories I recall from my time at ThoughtWorks was when
We were working on a project and noticed that every TWer on the team were from a different country in the world. 8 people from different nationalities working together is a good summary of the breadth of experience you get working for ThoughtWorks.
I came to find ThoughtWorks by
Reading Martin Fowler’s work on Refactoring, XP, Agile, Object-Oriented Design, and Enterprise Applications.
