How is it being used?


In a recent XAI project by DeepMind and Moorfields Eye Hospital, researchers created a transparent AI system that can detect retinal disease. 



The system enables users to understand why it has made a recommendation, so clinicians can stay in loop, confirm the diagnosis, and work with patients to find the right treatment plan.


Many banks are using XAI to provide fair credit scores, improve market forecasting, and appeal to investors. Capital One, for instance, employs in-house experts to study XAI and the potential it has to mitigate ethical and regulatory breaches.
