Describe your experience so far at Thoughtworks in one or two words: Challenging, fulfilling

What does your job involve?

Testing product for its functionalities! Evaluating product’s ease of use and user-friendliness. Analyzing product’s performance and speed. Collaborating with development teams to identify, investigate, and resolve product issues in a timely manner. Creating and maintaining test plans, strategies, test results and documentation.

What is the most rewarding aspect of what you do?

It gives me a chance to pay attention to detail, think analytically, and collaborate with the team to achieve a common goal of creating a cool product with highest customer satisfaction! It also helps me to improve my problem solving skills and enhances my interpersonal skills.

We’d love to hear about your career journey. Can you talk about what led you to Thoughtworks and your decision to join Thoughtworks?

I came to know about an opening in Thoughtworks while I was searching for an opportunity in Thailand. I have known about Thoughtworks India and its reputation of being the premium consultancy company with a great work culture! I applied and during the interview process, got to know how much Thoughtworks focuses on the growth of an individual, Feedback process (by the way, awesome way to nurture yourself!), collaboration, pairing and their contribution towards diversity, inclusion. All these factors led me to join Thoughtworks and I am really happy with my decision to join the company!

What has been your favorite part of your Thoughtworks career to date?

It is hard to pick a single favorite part till now! I did love the Thoughtworks Launch Program which was a great way to know about ways of working, pairing, speed feedback, all the aspects Thoughtworks loves and is proud of. I also liked the idea of learning more about the latest technologies and resources, which I never knew before. Overall, I am really loving the culture and atmosphere here and can't wait to see what more I can learn and explore here.

What advice would you give to anyone thinking of joining Thoughtworks?

Anything else that you wanted to add about your Thoughtworks journey?

It is great to be around so many talented people from whom you can learn everyday and who are always ready to help. The most important thing I have learned is to think outside the box and have an open mind. I have also learned to work in a fast-paced agile environment and to think on my feet when faced with a new challenge!
