In addition to their technical acumen, they focus on mentoring teams, promoting the adoption of modern practices, and managing talent within their areas of expertise.
Job responsibilities
- You will lead the adoption and evolution of best practices in infrastructure engineering, guiding work teams to achieve technical excellence.
- You will leverage GCP to develop, manage, and enhance cloud-based infrastructure tailored to meet complex business needs.
- You will take ownership of the professional development of team members, mentoring them and driving continuous improvement (MTD).
- You will manage talent effectively, ensuring the right fit for each position, supporting recruitment, selection, and talent growth within the organization.
- You will balance short-term deliverables and long-term sustainability and scalability of infrastructure solutions, aligning them with strategic business objectives.
- You will collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to shape and implement a technical roadmap that supports the company’s goals.
- You will contribute to building a robust infrastructure engineering chapter by sharing knowledge and driving initiatives within the team.
- You will facilitate effective communication and collaboration between Spanish and English-speaking stakeholders.

Technical Skills
- You have extensive experience designing scalable infrastructure solutions that meet both short-term needs and long-term business goals.
- You have experience working with GCP, leveraging its services and tools to design and implement scalable, reliable, and efficient cloud infrastructure solutions.
- You excel in guiding teams to adopt best practices in cloud platforms, automation, and infrastructure development.
- You have a strong understanding of sustainability and scalability principles in infrastructure and DevOps environments.
- You are experienced with talent management processes, from recruitment to professional growth, aligning skills with business needs.
- You are proficient in Spanish and English, capable of effectively communicating with stakeholders in both languages.
- Bonus points if you have experience balancing competing priorities in complex infrastructure environments or across international teams.
