You may not know Mingle in the cloud supports anonymous access, but it does. Just not by default.
With Mingle in the cloud, enabling anonymous access would allow anyone in the world with your site URL to have read-only access to the projects you make accessible to anonymous people. For example, we’ve enabled anonymous access for this site. When you click the link, you immediately see an “Anonymous Access” project, which we’ve made anonymously accessible. You didn’t have to login, but you can see it, open it, and read it.
We assume the majority of our customers would not want this, so we’ve turned off anonymous access by default. However, if you would like to share your work and offer this type of access for your projects, please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’d be happy to enable anonymous access for your site. Then, all you have to do is enable anonymous access for the projects you want anonymous access for. (You can do this under the advanced settings section in the project settings tab.)
While some say sharing is caring, we understand if you want to keep your site and its projects under wraps. But, just in case you don’t mind opening up to the world, you have the option to.
