Peter Hinssen is one of Europe’s thought leaders on the impact of technology on our society. He has a focus on the consumer adoption of technology, on the impact of the networked digital society and on the alignment between Business and IT. Peter is co-founder of Across Group and Chairman of Across Technology and is currently involved as a coach to executives to develop perspectives on the future and how to drive innovation. He is also a board advisor on subjects related to innovation and IT. He develops executive education workshops and awareness sessions to bring business challenges with IT solutions, and to leverage the innovation potential of IT. Peter lectures at various business schools in Europe such as London Business School (UK) and Antwerp Management School (Belgium). Peter is a passionate keynote speaker who is frequently welcomed at forums and conferences around the world.

Yanik joined IATA in May 2011 where he was accountable for leading and coordinating the development of new solutions and new Industry services. He has over 25 years’ airline experience, most of which at British Airways where he began as Senior Manager Revenue Management in 1996. From 1999 to 2009, he held several positions as Area Commercial Manager, based in Stockholm, Frankfurt and Paris, covering most of Europe. In 2009 he returned to the head office in the UK and his last positon at British Airways was Head of Worldwide Catering. In July 2013 he was appointed to lead the global NDC program.

Ken got excited about agile development in 2003 and was one of the first to start combining agile methods with data warehousing, business intelligence, and analytics. Ken’s book, Agile Analytics: A Value-driven Approach to Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing describes the successful adaptation of agile techniques to the nuances of data warehousing and BI. As the Director of Agile Analytics for ThoughtWorks, a custom software development firm, Ken extends his Agile BI techniques to “Big Data” analytics initiatives. This focus includes NoSQL technologies, social analytics techniques, unstructured data analysis, data science, predictive and quantitative analytics, and others. Dr. Parsons has more than 20 years of application development experience in industries ranging from telecommunications to emergent internet services. She has been published in language and artificial intelligence media, served on numerous program committees, and currently reviews academic articles for several journals. Before coming to ThoughtWorks she worked as an assistant professor of computer science at the University of Central Florida. She also worked as director's post doctoral fellow at the Los Alamos National Laboratory researching issues in parallel and distributed computation, genetic algorithms, computational biology and non-linear dynamical systems. Dr. Parsons holds a [Ph.D] in Computer Science from Rice University.
