Head of Marketing UK2021-09-30T08:42:41-04:00<p><strong>Head of Marketing</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a passionate Head of Marketing to develop a marketing strategy, drive end-to-end online and offline campaigns, measure and track progress, and lead a dynamic marketing team. This role will support our UK business and reports directly into the Managing Director of the UK with a dotted line into our global CMO. You will be part of the UK Leadership team as well as the Extended Global Marketing leadership team.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Marketing is your passion, but you’re a leader first and foremost. You will be working closely with the sales, recruitment, and marketing teams and the business leadership to design and deliver campaigns that are aligned to our business strategy</li> <li>Thoughtworks is adapting to a rapidly changing market. As Head of Marketing, you are able to go deep into the perspective of our target audiences and support the leadership team to create messages that help us reach the market position that we aspire to occupy</li> <li>You will develop and execute marketing strategy across the UK, closely aligned with the overall region’s and global business priorities. You are comfortable setting strategy, as well as being a hands-on executor</li> <li>Work closely with the tech and sales leaders to develop Go-to-Market Strategies for new service line offerings,&nbsp; industry segments or partners and support recruitment marketing initiatives aimed to fill the candidate pipeline</li> <li>You will design, plan and oversee execution of activities across all channels: customer&nbsp; proposals, digital/social media channels, engaging events, PR, analysts and more</li> <li>Content is king. You will be responsible for the creation of strategic client stories and driving premium executive content through custom curation and creation</li> <li>While you are not frightened to do things yourself, you are comfortable managing a lean, engaged and collaborative team to work under your guidance and mentorship. You will provide mentoring, guidance and support to your marketing team, to continually improve and evolve the craft of the individuals and the marketing capability as a whole</li> <li>You’ll be delivering market insights, customer feedback, ensuring robust post-campaign evaluation and reporting, to shape on-going innovation &amp; improvement across all activities - supported by global centers of excellence</li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Contribute to the overall global marketing strategy and leverage and collaborate with global programs</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&nbsp;</span><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>12 – 15 years proven marketing experience preferably in a technology B2B environment</li> <li>Experience working closely with senior level executives</li> <li>Experience developing strategic marketing plans, monitoring performance and managing budgets</li> <li>Experience in hiring, training, developing, supervising and appraising personnel</li> <li>Experience working with a global team</li> <li>Background in event planning and management a plus</li> <li>Familiar with Marketo, or equivalent marketing automation system a plus</li> <li>Familiar with Salesforce, or equivalent CRM a plus</li> <li>Outstanding analytics capabilities: provide reports that drive insightful recommendations to the business</li> <li>Experience working with PR agencies and identifying opportunities for relevant media coverage</li> <li>Oversee the design and production of design materials (online and offline)</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You are results driven and self-directed.
