We are curious minds who come together as collaborative and inclusive teams to push boundaries, free to be ourselves and make our mark in tech.</p> <p>To string along our growth and to keep supporting our Thoughtworkers in Spain, we are looking for a People Operations Specialist, with at least 5 years of experience covering the following (but not limiting to) responsibilities:</p> <p><strong>1. Responsible for people operation processes:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Payroll review: monthly review to ensure we are properly paying all Thoughtworkers in Spain, review taxes, Social security contributions, final settlements, etc.</li> <li>Hiring paperwork required: to ensure Thoughtworks Spain is in compliance with Taxes and Social Security Authorities and new employees are hired on time.</li> <li>Time tracking.</li> <li>Leaves: absence control and management.</li> <li>Employee Benefits.</li> <li>Onboarding.</li> <li>First point of contact for employees on any queries they may have.</li> <li>Ensure all employee information is up to date, maintained regularly and compliantly stored.</li> </ul> <p><strong>2. Mobility:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support new hires and internal transfers in their transition with immigration status, relocation needs, temporary housing, registrations, etc in collaboration with our External Vendor.</li> <li>Coordinate and align with the Global Team of global mobility and immigration.</li> <li>Track and inform employees that work remote,&nbsp;</li> <li>Be the point of contact for Thoughtworkers from other regions and interested in transfers.</li> </ul> <p><strong>3. Compliance:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assure Thoughtworks Spain complies and is up to date with all labor law regulation and related processes. (i,e follow up and adaptation of our Plan de Igualdad).</li> </ul> <ol> <li><strong>Vendor management</strong>: Work directly with the vendors in the people space such as Legal, benefits providers, payroll, risk prevention, relocation…</li> <li><strong> Policies</strong>: review, design, execute and evolve different policies.</li> </ol> <p><strong>Experience and knowledge desired</strong></p> <ul> <li>At least five years of experience in similar roles, ideally in an IT environment.</li> <li>Fluent in English and Spanish.</li> <li>Studies in related topics, legal, administration, labor relationships or similar is desirable.</li> <li>Advanced knowledge in tools such as: Excel and Google Suite.</li> <li>Good knowledge of the Spanish regulatory environment.</li> <li>Used to work in demanding environments.</li> <li>Attention to detail.</li> <li>Handling employee relations with discretion, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you can expect:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>You’ll be part of a great People and Operations teams where we work together to ensure the Thoughtworkers will have an optimal working experience.</li> <li>Experience working in a flexible environment where you can be yourself.</li> <li>A lot of learning opportunities and work in an international environment where you will meet and collaborate with people from all over the world.</li> <li>Freedom to improve processes and adjust the work to what works best for you, with the tools that are currently there.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>You find yourself in this description and want to become part of Thoughtworks' big plans? Due to COVID-19 our offices in Barcelona and Madrid are partially open to provide support to employees who require more space and facilities than they have at home.
