The position requires a high level of collaboration, working cross-functionally with Legal, HR, Payroll and external partners to ensure sound compliance and reporting.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We are seeking an accounting professional who has experience in public accounting and/or adesire/experience to work in industry practice with a services technology company.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This position will be based in Chicago, Illinois and report to the Assistant Global Controller and will work closely with the External Reporting &amp; Technical Accounting Team.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Here’s What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Support the accurate reporting to external regulatory filings (SEC Form 4, Proxy Statement, Form 10-K and 10-Q disclosures).</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely accounting and related financial reporting for multiple types of equity related transactions.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Responsible for leading the Finance component of equity-related projects, such as an equity platform implementation.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Support the accurate and timely administration of equity related activities, including equity award grants, option exercises, RSU releases, monitoring of PSU targets, terminations, cancelations and modifications.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ensure tax, regulatory, legal, and SOX compliance requirements are met timely and accurately and in compliance with governing stock plan agreements in support with legal and HR teams.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Support employee education initiatives of equity plans, including distribution of educational materials, live presentations, facilitation of Q&amp;A, and overall availability to support employee equity inquiries.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Provide excellent customer service to equity participants at all levels of the organization.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Maintain database integrity and ensure accurate recordkeeping of all equity data.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Develop and maintain documentation of equity-related processes and controls for internal and external audits.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Support administration of Insider Trading Policy, Trading Windows and pre-clearance requirements.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Manage relationships with third-party service providers supporting the equity platform (platform provider; transfer agent).</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Drive process improvement and innovation to scale equity administration functions.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Represent the equity function as a subject matter specialist in automation opportunities, M&amp;A, and other strategic projects.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Other responsibilities, tasks, and ad hoc requests as needed.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><strong>Here’s What You’ll Need</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Bachelor’s in accounting</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">CPA preferred</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">4+ years of accounting experience</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Public accounting experience is preferred but not required</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience working directly with major third-party equity platform providers</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Broad experience with different equity award types and plans</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict reporting deadlines</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Stellar project and process management skills</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Proficiency in financial systems and strong intuition for business</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Highest standards of accuracy, organization and precision</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to explain complex equity concepts to all levels of the organization</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent executive presence;
