We pride ourselves on a working culture that puts teamwork and diversity first, as well as providing an innovative community of practice to support continuous professional development.</span></p> <p><strong>You’ll spend time on the following:</strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Working on delivery focussed, design-led technology engagements helping international clients transform their businesses and to develop new digital products and services</span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Directing the research activities on experience design projects, employing different methods such as contextual inquiry, moderated interview, experiments, user testing and the like, and advising clients and training colleagues on these methods</span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Inspiring unique approaches to product design, with great workshop techniques and tools and be able to facilitate client brainstorms and internal sessions with diverse colleagues including business, user experience, and technology professionals</span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Creating inspiring design hypotheses for delivery teams to work with, and be comfortable in working with multidisciplinary technical teams</span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Creating compelling design deliverables and working artifacts with multidisciplinary teams to truly make things happen for our client's business</span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Contribute to the development of design methods, tools, and new and emerging techniques within the growing experience design community at ThoughtWorks</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Develop your career outside of the confinements of a traditional career path by focusing on what you’re passionate about rather than a predetermined one-size-fits-all plan</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Here’s what we’re looking for:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">A deep experience (5+ years) in experience design and in interface design, visual design or other related design disciplines </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Demonstrate how to effectively use the stylistic elements of brand and identity</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Understand how to use visual media such as iconography, illustration and photography to increase the effectiveness of a design</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Show a clear appreciation of graphic design principles such as layout, typography and information hierarchy</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Appreciate the value of design patterns/systems and how to make use of them in an organisational context</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Design diagrams and schematics to communicate Information flows and user journeys to colleagues, partners and client stakeholders</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Create interactive design concepts from lightweight sketching through to interactive prototypes and working software</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Show understanding of both user heuristics and common feature of software applications such as interactive form design, responsive user interfaces and device specific patterns</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Plan content for interactive systems and develop effective use cases for the presentation and management of content to support business needs and user goals</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Relevant domain knowledge acquired in a particular business context - e.g. retail, financial services, public sector&nbsp;
