Zhamak Dehghani

Principal Consultant at ThoughtWorks

Zhamak works with a focus on distributed systems architecture and digital platform strategy at Enterprise. She is a member of the ThoughtWorks Technology Advisory Board and contributes to the creation of the ThoughtWorks Technology Radar. Zhamak has worked as a software engineer and architect for 20 years in the areas of distributed computing communications, as well as embedded device technologies and has contributed to multiple patents on embedded mobile sensing devices.

Martin Fowler

Chief Scientist at ThoughtWorks

I am an author, speaker… essentially a loud-mouthed pundit on the topic of software development. I work for ThoughtWorks, a software delivery company, where I have the exceedingly inappropriate title of “Chief Scientist.” I’ve written half-a-dozen books on software development, including Refactoring and Patterns of Enterprise Application Architecture. Joanna Parke

Chief Talent Officer at ThoughtWorks

Joanna joined ThoughtWorks in 2003 as a developer; in 2013 she was promoted to Managing Director of North America. By 2015, Joanna was named to Crain Chicago’s prestigious 40-under-40 List for her leadership and critical role in doubling the percentage of technical women at ThoughtWorks. Today she drives ThoughtWorks’ global approach to talent management across 41 offices in 14 countries, including diverse talent sourcing, acquisition, and development.

Mike Roberts

Partner at Symphonia

Mike is a long-time proponent of Agile and DevOps values and is passionate about the role that cloud technologies have played in enabling such values for many high-functioning software teams. He sees Serverless as the next evolution of cloud systems and as such is excited about its ability to help teams, and their customers, be awesome.

Birgitta Böckeler

Principal Developer at ThoughtWorks

Birgitta thrives on juggling the complexities of building software and finding the simplicity in it, especially when she can do that with a team of like-minded, passionate people. Throughout her professional career she has worked on large custom software delivery projects in a range of tech-related roles. She's splitting her time between coding, coaching, consulting, and generally keeping the work fun.

Allen Plummer

Director, Platform Engineering at SONIC Drive-In

Allen is leading the Platform Engineering practice for SONIC’s Integrated Consumer Experience (ICE) initiative. He oversees the Delivery Infrastructure and Platform Operations teams, made up of dedicated professionals from ThoughtWorks, SONIC FTE’s, and other strategic Vendors. He has served in a variety of capacities including Enterprise Architecture, managing a Software Development team, DevOps & Release Management, Project Management, and Software Engineering.

Saleem Siddiqui

Developer, Facilitator & Coach at ThoughtWorks

Saleem is a software developer, practitioner, and coach at ThoughtWorks. Lately, his focus has been organizational metamorphosis through microservice architecture -- using tiny software to cause large changes over time. Saleem enjoys that his work takes him around the world and often writes about his experiences (occasionally in 3rd person).
