I am a Tech Lead in Barcelona since the early days of ThoughtWorks in Spain. At the moment, I am leading a team driving a digital transformation in a large client.
I have been developing software for 15+ years and have worked on a variety of problems, from building enterprise integration solutions to creating web applications or migrating systems to the cloud. I am very passionate about understanding how teams work and like to focus on how people can collaborate better to make teams more effective.
Before joining ThoughtWorks, I worked as a consultant for clients in different industries like utilities, insurance and public sector. I successfully helped growing a start-up during four years in Berlin, too.
I came to find ThoughtWorks by
Reading Martin Fowler’s books and blog in early 2000s when I was studying at the university.
The best advice I can give a current or future ThoughtWorker is
There are so many things going on all the time you will never get bored. Take advantage of them and see where they take you. And don’t feel intimated by getting out of your comfort zone. That’s where fun happens.
The thing I love most about my work is
Having the opportunity to work on challenging, interesting problems within a team of very smart people who offer a lot of support. This gives me many chances during the day to learn new things and grow, both personally and professionally.
