ThoughtWorks, a global technology company, today announced it was named one of “San Francisco Bay Area's Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” by the National Association of Business Resources (NABR). ThoughtWorks employs more than 140 of the brightest technologists out of its downtown San Francisco office, in addition to over 2,500 employees working from 30 offices in 12 countries. ThoughtWorks was included in the list of best and brightest based on a combination of satisfaction, company growth, and a diverse and open office environment.

“ThoughtWorks has been in San Francisco since 1997, and has always aimed to attract and employ a diverse range of technologists along with passionate people from different career paths. Our teams across the globe share the same goal of enacting positive change through technology,” said Craig Gorsline, Chief Operating Officer, ThoughtWorks. “In a dynamic and crowded market such as San Francisco, it means a great deal that our San Francisco team is recognized as leaders in promoting diversity, creativity, and developing compelling technical solutions for businesses and social movements. As we continue to grow in San Francisco and around the world, we constantly seek diverse and passionate individuals capable of solving our client’s toughest challenges while creating positive social change.”

“Profitability and stability are essential for businesses in today’s economic climate. Companies that recognize that their employees are the key to their success achieve staying power. Our 2014 winners create their human resource standards to ensure employee satisfaction and they set standards for every business to aspire toward,” said Jennifer Kluge, NABR president. “We are proud to honor this year’s winners.”
