Junior IT Support Specialist (1 year contract)

Singapore , Singapore

We are looking for a passionate and curious IT support specialist to provide first class customer service and support to our 200+ users in Singapore. When help is needed the IT support specialist can turn to the regional workspaces team for guidance and support. Our communication as a team, willingness to share our knowledge and continuous learning, are paramount to our success.

Main Responsibilities:

  • User account and email support
  • Network, IP phone, printer troubleshooting and support
  • Apple/MacOS support (common hardware fault diagnostic & system troubleshooting, reset macOS & software installation, etc.)
  • Asset management (receipt, warehousing, distribution, recycling, inventory, etc.)
  • Zoom-based VC system and hardware support
  • Proactively support user’s IT service issues and requests
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal team or vendor
  • Server room and office physical security inspection to help ensure our global/regional standards are met
  • Pass on any feedback or suggestions by users to the appropriate internal team
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

Technical skills

  • 2-4 years of experience in IT customer support, help desk technician or technical support role
  • Basic IT knowledge and strong interest in IT environment
  • A fast learner with the ability to follow processes and procedures, you will be able to prioritise and manage several open cases at the same time
  • Experience with supporting an Apple/MacOS environment is preferred
  • Customer-oriented / Good problems solving skills / Team player

  • Availability to work standard support hours (Mon to Friday, 9 am - 6 pm) along with occasional after-hours and weekend support
  • This opportunity is open to only Locals or Foreigners with Permanent Residency status
