Lead Developers act as the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring that teams are successful in their delivery. In this role, you will bring a strategic mindset to projects and spend time collaborating and negotiating with clients to bring a technical vision to life. Having a balance of high-level and tactical mindsets is a must, as you will spend time both with clients and your teammates.

Job responsibilities
- You will work in collaborative, value-driven teams to build innovative customer experiences for our clients.
- You will propose and implement solutions to address scalability & design challenges.
- You will oversee or take part in the software development cycle of a scalable product.
- You will implement changes/features as part of a Continuous Evolution process.
- Responsible for application/environment health, continuous improvement, and continuous optimization approach.
- Addresses in a timely manner software issues identified via various channels, quickly able to diagnose and qualify production incidents, identify and address root causes, find workarounds, etc.
- Work on large-scale distributed systems out of microservices, with several external integrations in a fast-paced environment.
- You will act as a mentor for less-experienced peers through both your technical knowledge and leadership skills.
- You will use continuous delivery practices to deliver high-quality software as well as value to end customers as early as possible.
- Availability for flexible working hours, if needed.
Job qualifications
Technical Skills
- You have a strong knowledge and understanding of Kotlin.
- Relevant Frontend experience and knowledge are considered a plus.
- Additional experience with Clojure is considered nice to have.
- Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, Postgres, or GitHub Actions is not mandatory but is considered a plus.
- You can skillfully write high-quality, well-tested code and are comfortable with Object-Oriented and Functional programming.
- Comfortability with Agile methods, such as Extreme Programming (XP), Scrum, and/or Kanban.
- You have working experience with the AWS development and deployment environment.
- Exposure to Terraform/Kubernetes is considered a plus (not mandatory).
- Experience relevant to the above-mentioned responsibilities.
