I thrive on diversity of experience and am happy to help out where ever I can add value. I love working at ThoughtWorks because there are no pigeon holes and if you are keen to give something a go you'll more than likely get support as long as you are willing to put the effort in!
In my time at ThoughtWorks I've contributed as a developer, analyst, iteration manager, tech lead, project manager, architect, head of operations and most recently as managing director.
My geeky passion is
hardware! I started out in the world of electrical engineering and am really excited about the hardware renaissance that's taking place right now. I see the open-hardware, Arduino and Raspberry Pi communities as just the beginning of a much more connected world that relentlessly continues to blur the lines between physical and digital.
Can't wait till my kids are old enough to play with this stuff. (Read, I can't wait till I get more time to play with this stuff!)
I came to find ThoughtWorks by
persistence. After my first round of interviews I was not accepted into ThoughtWorks. It was only a year later, and another tranche of interviews, that I eventually found myself working at ThoughtWorks.
If you would like to work with us and are apprehensive about the process, please talk to me, I've got loads of practise! ;)
With ThoughtWorks, I've visited
UK, South Africa, India, China, Australia, US, Germany
