Field Marketing Associate (Market Liaison Manager)

Dallas, Texas, USA

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive early-career professional to join our regional Field Marketing team as a Market Liaison Manager (MLM). This role is an evolution of the traditional Lead Development Representative, focused not just on qualification, but on orchestrating meaningful, well-timed client and prospect engagement based on AI-powered insights and regional marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a recent graduate or someone with up to two years of work experience in B2B sales, business development, or marketing support, with a strong interest in building a career at the intersection of sales, marketing, and technology. You are outgoing, naturally curious, highly self-motivated, and eager to learn how to build and maintain professional relationships in a commercial context.

The MLM will receive alerts and recommended actions from an internal AI sales agent, which detects buyer intent, engagement trends, and stakeholder movement across accounts. The MLM will evaluate these recommendations, apply local context and programmatic content, and working closely with field marketers and client teams, will execute timely and compelling outreach across email, LinkedIn or other channels to key buyers within accounts that are part of the buying group.

Job responsibilities

  • Review AI-driven account signals to identify outreach opportunities and prioritize key accounts and buyer group members for engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with Client Principals (CPs), Business Development Reps (BDR), and field marketers to align on the buyer group,  outreach timing, messaging, and next steps.
  • Craft and personalize outreach based on AI recommendations, CRM insights, and alignment with regional field marketing programs (e.g. events, thought leadership, exclusive offers).
  • Execute multi-channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, etc) to progress early-stage leads and re-engage dormant contacts, with a focus on value-add conversations, not transactional hand-offs.
  • Track, document, and optimize outreach efforts within CRM, ensuring client stakeholder engagement and buyer group relationships are well maintained and up to date.
  • Nurture warm contacts over time by connecting them to high-value content, events, or Thoughtworks expertise based on their interests and engagement history.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of AI agent effectiveness by providing qualitative feedback and helping refine recommended actions.

Job qualifications

Technical Skills

  • A recent graduate or early-career professional (up to two years of experience) in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • An interest in B2B sales, marketing, or client engagement, especially in the tech or professional services sectors.
  • Comfortable using Linkedin and email would be expected and any experience with a CRM, Demandbase, Zoominfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator  would be advantageous.

Professional Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a natural confidence in engaging people across different roles and industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, work independently, and adapt to a fast-paced, technology-driven environment particularly using AI.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in following up and managing outreach activity.
  • A self-starter with a curious and collaborative mindset—motivated by personal growth and making a positive impact on the team. To meet KPIs that are set for this role.
