over coffee with a dynamic African Woman in IT. Her excitement about ThoughtWorks and specifically ThoughtWorks in Africa was infectious. I was inspired by the commitment to enhance the craft of software development in Africa but to do this while delivering world class solutions to commercial, social sector and government clients.
Soon enough after that meeting I was a ThoughtWorker.
The best advice I can give a current or future ThoughtWorker is
be ready for change, lots of it! Be willing to collaborate! Be open to learn! Get involved!!
If I could fix one of the world's problems, I'd put my powers to use on behalf of
youth engagement and mobilization. Africa has the largest youth demographic at a time when the evolution of software and hardware has driven the convergence of technology with our daily lives and transformed the way we connect. How great would it be for us to have tools and platforms that allow youth to share insights and collaborate on innovative approaches to accelerate inclusive growth and development in the future?
