And I get things done. Anything I really want to. I just can't code (much).
"I can be amiable. Agreeable. Affable. And that´s only the As. Just dont ask me to be nice. Nice has nothing to do with me."
The thing I love most about my work is
That there is NEVER a dull day around here. I am helping a client with their first steps with agile one day, setting up a landing page for Gender Justice content the next. And while I do that I am in touch with super smart people from all around the world. After 6 years working here, wherever I travel to I can meet friends I made at ThoughtWorks.
The best advice I can give a current or future ThoughtWorker is
Find what you want to do and start doing it NOW. Nobody is going to tell you what to do...but pretty much nobody will tell you what NOT do to either, so take your chance!
One of the most interesting stories I recall from my time at ThoughtWorks was when
We opened our first office in Brasil just a couple weeks before Christmas. EVERYONE knows that is the worst time of the year to get things done in the country... it's Summer, school is over, folks are getting paid their 13º salary and people are focused on vacations and holiday parties. Not knowing it was pretty much impossible, we went there and just done it! ;-)
