I've been working in the IT industry for more years than I care to remember, and working as a developer for more than fifteen years. The only high-level programming language older than me is LISP.
Creating software is the thing I like best. Doing this with smart, engaged people is what makes ThoughtWorks such a great place to work.
I came to find ThoughtWorks by
Wanting to get better at estimation. This led me (via a talk by Neal Ford) to look at Agile, and then to try it, several times with varying degrees of success, and then to the people who really know how to do it.
The thing I'm most proud of from my time here is
Probably ThoughtWorks.com. It's been great to see the development team and the web site blossom over the past couple of years, and I'm proud to have been a part of this.
