J2EE Developer

Responsibilities:

Will work on custom-designed, multi-tier, projects that utilize large scale n-tiered object oriented (OO) technologies, such as J2EE and/ or .NET technologies and iterative and Agile Methodologies, as well as mobile and wireless applications, such as J2ME and Brew. Will work on the creation and management of software product/project features, functionality, and specifications for client projects; contribute to every stage in the software solution life cycle, from requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, release and maintenance; will mentor and lead offshore development teams on best practices, design principles and the software development cycle. 80% travel throughout the US required. This is a full time (40 hrs. per week) position. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field or foreign equivalent, plus five years of experience in the position offered or in the related position of Software Engineer or Master's Degree plus one year of experience. Experience must include involvement in the full software engineering life-cycle of a project utilizing n-tier object oriented technologies; utilization of mobile and wireless applications, such as J2ME and Brew; and mentoring offshore development teams.
