Application Deployment & Network Administrator

If you would like to...

In this position you will be responsible for technical leadership contributing to the successful deployment of application development projects. Your responsibilities will also include but not be limited to:

• Be part of diverse, high energy team and use a wide range of tools to secure, monitor and improve complex enterprise systems
• Set up the production environment, deploy the application, and test the application to make sure the application works well
• Learn about enterprise level network configurations, VPNs
• Continually learn, mentor and grow

And you have...

• Experience with J2EE/.Net application deployment
• Knowledge of application server such as WebLogic, JBoss
• Experience with database setup and configuration, such as Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, SQL Server
• A strong technical foundation and experience setting up or supporting development, QA and production environments
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, techonology and Protocols such as TCP/IP, IPSec, HTTP, FTP, DHCP, DNS
• Strong knowledge of network services servers such as DHCP, LDAP, DNS Servers
• An eagerness to learn enough about whatever tools or tricks are needed to get the job done
• An interest in and ability to design and support enterprise network environment
• Experience with operating systems like Windows Server 2000, Windows Server 2003, Unix and Linux
• Experience with Cisco Firewall and Router appliances
• Experience with other networking appliances such as Switches, Hubs, Modems
• Knowledge of databases such as Oracle and SQL Server
• 4 - 8 years of experience as Network/Security Administrator
• Fluent in written and oral English
