Dharmarajan Sitaraman, India Managing Director

Dharmarajan Sitaraman is the Managing Director of ThoughtWorks India. Sitaraman joined ThoughtWorks in May 2005 and has been part of the ThoughtWorks India's management team since then. As managing director, he is responsible for ThoughtWorks India's day-to-day operations including global software development and delivery and customer relationship management. Sitaraman has more than 16 years of IT industry experience, ranging from software development to customer management.

Prior to ThoughtWorks, Sitaraman was the general manager of India Operations for Nextance. Inc., a California-based contract management software company. He was responsible for starting up Nextance's Bangalore office, and subsequently for resource management, software delivery, and quality. Sitaraman earned his master's degree in computer applications from the Regional Engineering College in Tiruchy, India.
