Reagent has emerged as a lightweight minimalist alternative to Om for wrapping React.js in ClojureScript. Whereas Om provides a comprehensive Clojure-idiomatic front-end programming framework, Reagent takes advantage of Clojure’s expressiveness to focus on simple components and a readable DSL for writing HTML. By representing HTML in Clojure data, Reagent retains the performance and understandability of React.js without embedding foreign markup in the code.
