ThoughtWorks Continues Support of Corporate Diversity at Grace Hopper Conference

CHICAGO — 10 October 2007 — ThoughtWorks, a global IT consultancy, announced today that it will be attending and participating in the 2007 Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing, October 17-20, in Orlando, Florida. The Grace Hopper Celebration provides a forum to inspire, educate, encourage and create awareness of opportunities for women in the field of computing. ThoughtWorks is a Silver Sponsor of the event, which it has supported since 2004. This year's theme, I Invent the Future, focuses on the impact women have on the computing and technology fields.

ThoughtWorks' chief technology officer, Dr. Rebecca Parsons, will be featured on a panel discussing topics such as what makes for great technical leadership, how to prepare for becoming a CTO, and why so few women become CTOs and technical leaders. This esteemed panel also includes fellow CTOs Justin Rattner (Intel) and Mark Bregman (Symantec).

ThoughtWorks' commitment to diversity is shown through its varied workforce, as well as through supporting such worthy events as the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing.
