Managing the data: Agile Business Intelligence

The growth in the number and complexity of IT applications has led to an explosion in the amount of electronic data being created. Storing, managing and analyzing this data in an efficient manner is becoming an increasing challenge for IT.

This issue of Perspectives is focused on data, and looks at how Agile techniques can be brought to the world of Business Intelligence, how traditional data warehousing can potentially be wasteful, and suggests alternatives for storing and visualizing large amounts of data.
